Morning Parade are HOTLY tipped – these Essex-boys play epic rock with a 90s-dance twinge, custom made for the stadiums…
Imagine drunken men holding their arms wide and bellowing the choruses skyward. That’s what’s coming.
The guys have put together a cracking top 5 for us here – so check what they have to say, then have a listen.
And follow @top5tracks on twitter because the next list is going to be a good one!
Over to Morning Parade:
1 – Gotye – Somebody that I used to know
I think the vocal melody in this track is amazing. Love the video too.
2 – The Maccabees – Feel to follow
Stunning arrangement, brilliant song. Love the harmonic shifts in the chorus, always keeps you guessing what’s coming next.
3 – M83 – Midnight City
The reason I chose this song is that the main hook is relentless throughout the song and never seems to get boring. I also love the production on the song, lots of depth and width.
4 – Daughter – Youth
The vocals are great, and the arrangement is beautifully simple. Enough said.
5 – Clock Opera – Once and For All
A heartfelt yet epic track from this band. My friend showed me this track, and I was taken in by its m83 synths and arcade fire combo. The video blew me away… sad yet beautiful.
Press play, and the whole list will play through:
Which of those did you enjoy? This is Daughter’s second time being selected… no band has been chosen 3 times yet, who will be first?!
