Rewd Adams

How about a bit of UK Hip-Hop? South London’s Rewd Adams has just put out a new album “How Not to Make a Living” with the Last Skeptik, and it’s a banger.

Heartfelt well-crafted lyrics, big beats and strong narrative… you should check it out. And here’s your chance – Rewd has done us a top 5 and put one of his own on there.

Check out Rewd Adam’s top 5 tracks below and press play to have a listen. Some EXCELLENT hip-hop recommendations on this list…

1 – Rewd Adams & The Last Skeptik – Everything’s OK

Well i had to put in something from myself right? And nothing says ego more than putting your song in at number 1!

2 – Prodigy & Beat Butcha – Skull & Bones

H.N.I.C 3 sees the return of Mobb Deeps Prodigy with a banging album and this is one of my favourite joints on there. Produced by one of the UK’s finest Beat Butcha.

3 – Ab Soul Featuring Jhene Aiko & Danny Brown – Terrorist Threats

One of my favourite joints of one of my favourite releases this. Is any one else doing it better than Black Hippy right now?

4 – Kendrick Lamar – Cartoons and Cereal

Having just seen him live in london at probably the best Hip Hop show i’ve ever been to this was his encore track and my most listened to of his right now.

5 – Big Krit – Red Eye

My second favourite release of this year has to be Big Krits ‘Live from the Underground’ but ‘Red Eye’ from his ’4 Eva N A Day’ is so poignant to me i couldn’t not mention it. For anyone sleeping on Krit check this song and become a believer.

Here’s the playlist – press play to treat your ears. Or do it in Spotify, but they don’t have all the tunes yet…
